History

Travel-Lists began life in 1999 as the Travel News Organisation, a general travel news and information web site. It quickly became a news and information supplier to other sites.

In May 2003 the 'content-supplier' side of the business split away, leaving the directory-only consumer web site to be more accurately renamed as Travel-Lists.co.uk.

In June 2005 Travel-Lists was redesigned and switched from being a subscription-based premium content site to a simple directory style site.

In June 2011 the site was re-designed and upgraded with a Joomla! Content Management System (CMS)
