Low-cost airline AirAsia X is offering 20% off all fares from London to Malaysia.

The reduced fares are available online between 1st (today) and 5th September for travel between 1st September and 14th November.

The discount can also be found on AirAsia X’s new flatbed seats, which the airline claims are already typically 50% cheaper than business class fares on full service airlines.

Regent Holidays (0845 277 3317), are offering savings of £70 per person on city breaks to Kiev

The Eastern Europe specialists say they are seeing an upturn in interest in the Ukraine from travellers who had set their sights on Russia this summer but have been put off by recent events such as the heatwave and air pollution around Moscow.

They say a weekend break in Kiev is much cheaper than Moscow or St Petersburg and is easier to plan as visas are not a requirement for UK and EEU passport holders.

The £70 discount is on a three night stay (Friday to Monday) at the 4-star Hotel Impressa in Kiev, plus a free upgrade to a deluxe suite (subject to availability). The offer means that the price for three nights starts from £465 per person, based on two sharing a twin room and including direct flights with Ukraine International from London Gatwick.

Louis Cruises (0800 018 3883) is waiving the single supplement - normally 50% of the appropriate cabin grade - on all sailings of its flagship, the Louis Majesty, between 1 November 2010 and 31 March 2011, from Genoa or Marseille.
