A Wilderness Safaris owned and operated camp in the Namib Desert on a 21 000-hectare (46 000-acre) private reserve near Sossusvlei. The camp is built at the foot of a mountain and comprises of 9 thatch and canvas chalets on elevated wooden decks. Wildlife watching (Springbok, Gemsbok, Ostrich, Bat-eared Fox and Aardwolf) walks and balloon safaris are the main activities. |

Lianshulu Lodge in the East Caprivi is built among Jackalberry and Mangosteen trees (from which they make Mangosteen Mousse) on the banks of the Kwando River inside the Mudumu National Park. Their ten chalets underwent a rennovation programme during 04/05 and a new lodge was built with tiered safari-style terrazzos overlooking the waterlily-studded lagoon. |

| Mundulea Private Nature Reserve |
In 1999 Bruno Nebe created Mundulea Private Nature Reserve (10,000 hectares) on the site of a farm property in the unspoilt bushveldt of the Otavi mountains. There are two comfortable tented camps from which to enjoy the area's unique landscape, flora and fauna, including ancient Leadwood trees, massive Marulas, Wild Fig trees, White Syringa, Dombeya, Carrot trees, Nettle trees and Maerua; there are also countless species of aloe, acacia, fern, grewia and combretum. Antelope species include Eland which come to the mountains to breed, Kudu, Oryx, Hartebeest, Dik Dik, Steenbok, Duiker and Klipspringer. Often-seen predators include Leopard, Cheetah, Hyena, Jackal, Lynx and Serval, Aardvark, Aardwolf, Bat-eared foxes, Warthogs and Pangolin. For bird enthusiasts, depending on the time of year, the farm offers a wide variety of raptors, owls and passerines and non-passerines - about 260 species altogether.

Onguma is a 20,000 hectare private nature reserve on the eastern side of Etosha National Park, with a Bush Camp with 6 air-contioned bungalows and rooms, a luxury Tented Camp, and a new Plains Camp due to open late 2006. They also have sites for those with their own tents. The reserve boasts over thirty different animal species consisting of plains game including kudu, giraffe, eland, oryx, hartebeest, zebra, impala, plus lion, cheetah, leopard, and a family of black rhinos! |

Palmwag is a luxury mobile camp run by Wilderness Safaris in conjunction with the 'Save the Rhino Trust' in the remote region of northern Damaraland. | Serra Cafema Camp |
Serra Cafema Camp is located in the remote north-west of Namibia, not far from Botswana's Okavango Delta, and is only accessible by air. It has 8 canvas and thatched chalets with en-suite bathrooms perched on the banks of the Kunene River under shady Albida trees. The desert landscape is dramatic and enjoyed on foot, in 4x4 and quad bikes which come into their own on the nearby sand dunes. |

Wilderness Safaris opened this 12-bedded, luxury tented camp in April 2000 on the Khumib River, within the private concession area of the Skeleton Coast National Park. The park (660,000 acres) is a wild, desolate, and uninhabited with Giraffe, Springbok, Gemsbok (Oryx), the rare desert Elephant, Cape Fur Seals, Brown Hyena, Jackal, Cape Fox, Bat-eared fox, Honey Badger, Genet, Ostrich and Cheetah. There are six luxury tented rooms on raised wooden decks with en-suite bathrooms. The main area incorporates a dining room, lounge and bar area surrounded by glass concertina doors to allow for uninterrupted views of the desert beyond. In fair weather the camp offers al fresco dining under an ancient Leadwood tree and after-dinner drinks around the camp fire under the stars. |

Sossusvlei camp is located on a hillside in a 21 000 hectare private reserve in the Namib Desert, 20 kilometres from entrance to the often photographed Sossusvlei sand dunes - huge red sand dunes towering over the plains.
