LIST: ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORTS

These are resort operators, tour operators or travel agencies that specialise in All-Inclusive resorts.

Almond Resorts 0870 907 9601 A collection of five all-inclusive resorts in Barbados and St. Lucia.
Barcelo Hotels & Resorts 0845 090 3071 Spanish International hotel group with a selection of huge All-inclusive luxury resorts in Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
Club Med 0700 2582 932 Back in June 03 Club Med's UK Managing Director said that they were trying to distance themselves from the 'all-inclusive' tag because, although they were all-inclusive, the description tends to be associated with just endless food & drink, and Club Med wanted to emphasise all the other activities that are included in their prices. Bit of a turn-around then that in 2005 they started highlighting their 'New Total All-Inclusive' concept which means unlimited drinks and snacks available throughout the day in addition to the usual Club Med package. Apparantly "tremendously positive consumer feedback" from the villages where they been trying it means that they have now introduced it to 70 of their 80 villages worldwide!
Occidental Hotels & Resorts n/a American resort chain with a large number of all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean & Mexico.
Sandals 020 7581 9895 Probably the best-known (or most highly-marketed) all-inclusives in the world. Eleven Caribbean resorts for couples only.
Superclubs 020 7644 1764 Not just 'all-inclusive', they call it 'super-inclusive', offering absolutely no hidden costs. Superclubs were one of the all-inclusive concept initiators with pioneer resorts like Hedonism (then called Negril Beach Village Resort) on Jamaica. Now they have fourteen resorts in three categories: Luxury (Grand Lido Negril & Grand Lido Braco on Jamaica), Active (Breezes Bahamas on Nassau; Breezes Costa do Sauipe in Brazil; Breezes Punta Cana & Breezes Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic; Breezes Jibacoa & Breezes Varadero in Cuba; Breezes Curacau in the Dutch Caribbean; Breezes Montego Bay & Breezes Runaway Bay on Jamaica) and Wicked (Hedonism II and Hedonism III on Jamaica). There is also an affiliated brand: Starfish Hotels with a family resort on Jamaica.

Research Tips:* Mark Warner Holidays doesn't refer to itself as an all-inclusive operator, but the family-friendly beach and ski resorts are considered to be 'nearly all-inclusive' because while transport, food and wine, and most core activities are included in their prices, some activities (eg tennis coaching, scuba) are not.
