These are specialist agencies and companies that operate serviced apartments for long or short stay lets in the UK and worldwide.

Serviced apartments are designed mainly for corporate lettings but in recent years they've started marketing themselves to leisure travellers. They are typically stylish with 1/2 bedrooms, up-to-date facilities & appliances such as broadband internet connections, flat-screen TVs etc. They can be in historic buildings or purpose-built 'aparthotels' often located near city centres, and can often be a competitively priced option to hotels, especially for families.
Apartment Service, The 020 8944 1444 Booking company for serviced apartments in 700 locations worldwide. Aimed mainly at business travellers, but many of their listings are also available to leisure travellers by the day or week.
BridgeStreet Worldwide 020 7792 2222 BridgeStreet operate their own fully-serviced apartments, from studio flats to three-bedroom apartments, in the UK and internationally and have a worldwide network of apartments available through their partners. They are focused on the corporate market but also handle leisure enquiries.

Staying Cool was set up by two friends, former lawyer and ex-Granada Television board director-turned-designer, Paul Taylor and former Salford marketing and tourism boss, Tracey Stephenson. "The concept was born out of Paul and Tracey's nomadic lifestyles and their frustrations with most hotels and serviced apartments."

  • Collingham Serviced Apartments (020 7244 8677) is a serviced apartment building in South Kensington, London, with 25 one, two and three bedroom apartments for business & leisure travellers.
  • The Ascott Group is the largest operator in the serviced apartment sector. In addition to the Citadines Apartotels the group operates two luxury business brands in Central and Pacific Asia - the Somerset Serviced Residence designed for executives and their families on long stay contracts, and the Ascott Residence designed for shorter stay business travellers.
  • Mansley Apartments is an agency specialising in city apartments worldwide. They feature individual properties and serviced apartments from companies like Citadines.
