LIST: MILITARY TOURISM & OVERSEAS GUN RANGES

If you are an American, guns are no big deal - you may own one or know somebody who does, and handling or firing one is not an unusual experience. In Britain children still stare open-mouthed at armed policemen at the airport.

A number of destinations have spotted our fascination with the unknown and offer a chance to hold and fire anything from a WW2 Luger to a rocket-propelled grenade... as long as we're willing to pay for it, bullet by bullet!
