LIST: SPECIAL PLACES TO STAY IN ARIZONA

These are individual hotels, resorts, boutique hotels, inns, B&Bs and other 'accommodations' in Arizona that I have come across and think are worth checking out.

Clearly this list is very far from comprehensive, but it's a start. As it expands I'll sub-divide it down into smaller categories based on accommodation types and locations.
Boulders, The Scottsdale Luxury resort built stylishly among giant boulders in Scottdale valley with golf, tennis, spa, pools....all the usual stuff!
Hotel Vendome Prescott Small 'historic' inn in the heart of Prescott.
Mira Vista Resort Tucson 12-hectare, 14-room dude ranch/resort where clothing is 'optional'. Nude dudes (& dudesses), with or without stetsons, can enjoy lounging by the pool, playing tennis, doing yoga or Pilates.
Phoenician, The Scottsdale Huge luxury resort in 250 acres with 10 restaurants/lounges, 9 swimming pools, golf course, spa, etc, etc.
Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Paradise Valley Stylish 53-acre resort, launched in 2001, with 98 casitas and a luxurious spa built on the slopes of Camelback Mountain (home to prehistoric ceremonial cave sites).
Scott, The Scotsdale Luxury resort and spa with 204 guestrooms and suites, a sandy beach pool and a Mediterranean-inspired lagoon, as well as a torch-lit heated outdoor pool and hot tub surrounded by poolside cabanas and secluded fire pits.
Xanterra Grand Canyon Concessionaires for lodges on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park including historic lodges such as Bright Angel, El Tovar and at the bottom of the canyon, Phantom Ranch.
