These are local travel agents, companies operating tours and excursions, local hotels & accommodation, transport, and other travel & tourism related companies in Germany, that might be of interest to independent British travellers.

NB. You may not enjoy the same level of financial security and protection if things go wrong when you book directly with an overseas company.

Berlin Base Flying What is 'base flying'? Well, it's controlled falling.... in this case from Berlin's tallest hotel, the Park Inn Hotel in Alexanderplatz.
Berlin Walks Themed walking tours of Berlin.
City Guide Berlin starRene Langer's small agency offering custom made individual guided tours of Berlin and Brandenburg (in up to 20 languages). They can arrange tours the traditonal way: on foot, by car etc... or on bike as a pillion, on a quiet solar-catamaran on the river Spree, in a classic car, in a hot-air balloon, on a Zepplin-NT, by helicopter or in an historic aircarft such as a DC3 "Raisinbomber" (Dakota) or a Russian Antonov AN2 (biplane). They also will sort out event tickets, restaurant bookings, transport & accommodation.
Eurotrails Travel Tour agency based in Stuttgart offering some unusual tours, like sightseeing in a WW2 vintage Junkers 52, and arrangements for events like the 2006 Football World Cup.
Fair Accommodation German (Hannover-based) accommodation agency that specialises in finding private accommodation (guestrooms, apartments, B&B, S/C, pensions, guesthouses and hotels) during trade fairs and exhibitions in all major German cities.
German Historical Tours History tours to mostly WW2 sites.
Juwel Hotels Small group of three economy hotels in Berlin, Munich and Bad Reichenhall in Bavaria.
Knickerbockers Bier Tours Beer tours to pubs & breweries.
Lindner Hotels Small independent German hotel group with around 15 hotels in Germany, mostly with spas and/or "wellness" facilities.
Motel One Chain of 29 modern budget hotels in cities across Germany including Berlin, Dresden, Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg, Munich, Düsseldorf, Ratingen, Saarbrücken, Schweinfurt and Stuttgart. Launched in 2000, their mission statement is "lots of design for little money".
Pension HavelFloss Operate rentable liveaboard rafts on the Havel Brandenburg lakes. Nice idea for a relaxing weekend, especially if you are into fishing!
Rodenwalt Canoeing, archery, axe throwing and other riverside activities in northern Germany
Sächsische Dampfschiffahrt Operates the worlds largets & oldest fleet (9) of historical paddle-steamers on the Elbe. Themed cruises, jazz evenings, weddings etc.
Sorat Hotels Collection of interesting design hotels in cities.
Tentstation I was tempted to de-list these guys. They had a small & trendy campsite right in the heart of Berlin... which no longer exists! However, they have found another site for 2013 and in the meantime have recommended two alternative sites. So a stay of execution!
