• Bradt Travel Guides have published (Dec 04) their first guidebook on the Canary Islands. It is a slightly unusual destination for Bradt to cover - they are known for publishing guidebooks on 'fringe' travel destinations - but the book is firmly aimed at independent travellers focusing on hidden places and hiking trails.
