"Libbys Cottage is a Georgian grade II listed building named after the Libbys, a prominent Polperro family who lived in the village as far back as the 16th Century. Located in The Warren, one of the most attractive areas of Polperro and just seconds from the attractive harbour, Libbys Cottage is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious buildings in this beguilingly beautiful and untouched, traditional Cornish fishing village. Guests staying in Polperro can wend their way through the traffic-free streets to the small harbour, walking down paths where barrows of fish were once carted by day, while brandy casks and tobacco bales were smuggled into hideaways by night.

Libbys Cottage interiorYear round visitors can enjoy a selection of boutique shops and traditional pubs and inns, of which there are many including the Crumplehorn Inn at the top of the village and the famous Blue Peter Inn overlooking the harbour, its bobbing boats and swans.
