Save up to £100 on January ski short breaks to France

Written by Alastair on 22 January 2012.

SkiWeekends.com are offering savings of up to £100 on ski short breaks to France departing 26 January.

For example, a £70 saving is available on a four-night coach-inclusive break – giving three full days’ skiing – to the resort of Morzine in the Portes du Soleil region now costs £259 per person.

This twin-share price includes return overnight luxury coach travel, five nights’ chalet-board accommodation at the centrally-located Chalet Club Les Gourmets and the services of resident Skiweekends.com reps. The hotel is "just two minutes’ walk" from the Super Morzine gondola and five minutes from the Pleney gondola, but don't take that at face value - two minutes in trainers maybe, in ski boots it could be marginally longer! ;)

Coaches depart London Victoria, Thurrock, Maidstone and Folkestone, although departures from any UK mainland National Express pick-up point can be booked at a discounted rate.

Alternatively, the maximum saving of £100 is available on the four-night flight-inclusive package – giving four days’ skiing – to the high-altitude French resort of Chamonix which boasts 155km of piste with runs catering for all abilities.

The revised price is £486 per person, based on two sharing and inclusive of return flights from London Stansted, transfers and four nights’ accommodation with breakfast at the centrally located Hotel Gustavia – situated "just 500m" (aka half a kilomentre) from the nearest ski lift and there is a ski bus stop just outside the hotel.
